So, after a lot of hours dealing with Home Depot I kind of narrowed it down. I had ordered a Samsung washer and dryer from HD and it was to be delivered to my house in CT. The delivery day they refused to deliver due to icy driveway. Called HD again and realived they are calling Samsung which in turn is calling a 3rd party delivery service to sort this out.

If you interpret curbside delivery as on the public roadway next to the curb, there isn't even enough room between the houses to place it. I'm sorry but where the heck was the guy suppose to delivery it? If he put it at the bottom of the driveway where the curb cut is you would have been pissed at the guy for blocking the driveway.

I think the OP may not know what normal cabinet construction involves, and that what they've received is not "damaged". But, without the pictures, and knowing where the cabinets fit in the design, it's difficult to say.

During the first wash cycle it was noted that the washer was broken. We called the store manager and asked for a replacement. However, the store manager stated that a replacement or return can only be made within 48 hours after delivery and we were one day late.

They were supposed delivering 4 appliances today and nothing happened after waiting over 2 hours. The story is the trucker showed up and kept circling with his truck around the property whining that there is no parking spot for the 48 foot. Instead of pro-actively looking for solution, he smoked inside the truck, texted some photos to the office for the reason of disable to delivery. He gave me a cold look and then took off. I called HD right afterward and their advice is go ask for small truck delivery next time and each time from now on to avoid the issue.

They upped the offer but I still refused and let them know that no amount would convince me to accept one with visible damage since we didn't want that in our kitchen. So they exchanged it for a new one. After 48 hours, any product issues must be handled through your local The Home Depot store’s Special Services Desk. You can purchase plate hangers at the hardware store in the section with picture hanging hardware. They are wires that stretch to fit on the back edges of the plate and then can be hung on the wall. They do not damage the plate but make it secure to hang.

It is our contention that we did meet the warranty conditions of Home Depot by calling within the 48 hour period of installation. Installed April 3rd, called April 4th. After the second delivery, they contacted two painters. The lower estimate, for $575, covered all the walls in the stairway so they would match. The couple agreed to get estimates, but they decided to wait until the rest of their furniture arrived so a newly-painted staircase wouldn’t get damaged again.

The day of the delivery the dryer was brought in and hooked up no trouble. But when they brought the washer in it looked like someone had taken a hammer to it. We waited for several days to here from home depot, but we did not. I called the salesperson and of course she said she knew nothing of our problems.
